and Jump London. I want to do this not only for what everyone else wants to do it for, I want to do this to be fit and I have been thinking about joing the
U.S. Army, and maybe Parkour would help me with what I would have to do if I joined. Anyways, I just like some advice about how to start. Thanks.

Hey, i saw a video on youtube of this parkour stuff
I want to start doing it, a friend of mine told me id be good at it because of my body type and physical abilities
My question is.....Is there really a particular body type that is more suited for parkour and free running?? does speed, acceleration, vertical leap make
someone better at the sport???
If so, Would myself being, 6'2" 192lbs be an ideal body type? I am very agile and very quick, does this help?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I get confused easily...

Anyway, it seems that most people seem to get involved with parkour in their teens or early twenties. At 34, am I too fragile to take it up, do you reckon? I
run the odd 10k here and there, but I'm certainly not fit or flexible enough for parkour - not yet anyway. So would I be wasting my time? Hope not!

Maybe because I am a girl, my friends and family say parkour is rough and I am not good enough to succeed in it.

When I train alone I am able to do things well and focus.

When my family or friends watch me, I make mistakes and get hurt.

However, it's harder than I'd thought to do the actual paper. The thesis question I have presented so far is "How does practicing parkour affect
one's lifestyle?" I have a few sources so far, but the thing is, all the sources that I use need to be good enough to be approved by the school.
Simply put, I would...
