Today was out first little Parkour...thing. We started off in some woods...not alot there...just ran about abit, climbed some trees, generally warmed up. We
found that it was nice on the feet landing in the woods, but the ground was abit uneven. Then we got abit bored. So we moved on to a spot just next to a
church. Sorta some stairs, a couple of rails and a wall.
We wernt really sure what we were doing at first. But after a while we got into it. It took a while to find a good spot, but it was worth searching! It was
good for monkey vaults and 360 vaults (it's in Northowram, Yorkshire if you were wondering). We also did some precision jumping from rail to rail. It was
hard and we wouldn't recommend it to beginners like us. After a while we got thrown out by the vicor!!! LOL!!!

We went down to a little spot in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax, Yorkshire today. Before we went down we practiced some rolls in the living room!! lol!! Anyway...the
spot turned out to be quite good!! We did some different vaults (monkey vaults) over a railing. It was good because the railing wasn't very high, but the
drop at the other side made it abit more exiting!!
The high vaults HURT OUR FEET!!! Any advise on that?? There was no room to roll..AND we can't roll properly yet :/
Anyway. We also tried some cat leaps which were fun BUT hurt your knee if your feet slipped!!
One of us is tall (jonny) and needs help on tucking in to vault. The other (rob) is small, and couldn't get high enough to reach a certain wall when cat
leaping. ANY ADVISE ON THAT??
Anyways.....they're the blogs. We'll keep some more coming when we can...happy..er..Parkouring!!!
