I was a senior in high school when I got serious about it. I had a capstone project that had to be done. It was supposed to be this huge research project and
I decided I wanted to do it on parkour of course.
Unfortunately, in the end I wasn't allowed to do it on parkour because of the safety aspect but shortly thereafter I started meeting up with the guys from Renzhe.

hehe feral you got same story as me, only mine was called The Senior Project, same safety deal so now i'm doing a marathon for the project.
How I got into it was from being interested in it for about 3 years now, but not motivated enough to get serious. Now that i'm training for marathons running becomes a little dull, so as I run across a trail system, and do parkour moves along the way on various structures or obstacles i find
wide walking bridges are wonderful things for parkour... like the ones with 3 lanes about 30 feet across. |

My friend and I were in Branson, Missouri in the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. There was a segment on Yamakasi. My friend and I thought it was the
coolest thing. We started imitating what they were doing immediately. That was about 4 years ago. We eventually figured out what it was really called, and
everything about it. Learned it's not about jumping off stuff, or looking cool. We started training a bit more seriously about 2 years ago probably. We
still don't train nearly as much as we'd like. Here's our new training vid if anyone wants to see

I wouldn't say I'm doing PK just yet... I'm still in the process of perfecting the backflip, so it's more like I'm just starting tricking.
Anyways backflips, wallflips, wallruns, etc. have always been impressive to me so I looked up some tutorials and got started from there. It's a lot easier
to start this since I box and that deals with much balance as well as body strength and unity.

yeah... i got started by a game called prince of persia... lol! that dude was my hero. and one day my mom sat down and watched me play and said she saw guys on
a television program roof jumping and all this craziness. and so i decided to look it up about 2 years ago and found like 2 parkour videos... lol! and now
there are like millions of videos out there... geesh. but yeah i started with wallruns and frontflips. and basic side vaults mainly wallruns lol

Well.. i had heard about it, never tried it, but a while ago, i was at my job (bagging groceries) and i had to go get carts, and the parking lot was a mess...
so i just started speed vaulting stuff that got in my way, and its been like a crecendo, now Parkour is pretty much how i get around, its damn efficient!

I saw a short news story on Belle's group a long time ago (This was before the birth of UFF so I'm amazed that the local news in Kansas did it.) I
began to imitate them and learned some basic wallruns and really basic vaulting. I didn't start training seriously until Seb and Jerome did the scion
advert about 5 years ago.
